I have searched and searched, but want to get a confirmed answer. I currently have an HKS SSQ Ver 1 recirc'd, holds great with no issues, just sick of the sound and the fitment is a little odd. I am looking to stay recirc'd but I want a different sound. Will the Evo 9 Bov hold 26 psi? Or do I need to have an aftermarket valve? Currently looking at Evo 9 bov's, Evo X Bov's, Synapse, Tial. Let me know, Thanks!

 

If you're gonna spend the money, go with a synapse. You won't need to upgrade it for quite some time. I'm running one now on a stock IX turbo at 28psi on E85. I'm also up here in Colorado (elevation).

Sounds good man, I just talked to Tobz as well. Told me to go with a Synapse. I just am sick of the HKS. I have it up for trade over on CoEvo, no bites yet. Ill shoot you a PM over there with details.

 

I had a synapse didn't like it on the highway. Fluttered on my set up. I have it for sale if you are interested. I went with a tial qr. Very happy with it. One thing I really liked about the synapse is how quick my Turbo spooled.

I just switch mine from the hks ver.1 bov to synapse.How was your bov mounted?
I purchase a flange to mount on my upper intercooler piping.well actually a twist on flange like my hks,so swapping out between bov is easily done
