A3N exhaust housing material, what is D2B Material?
There is a manufacturer making exhaust housings for the Evo 4-9 turbo made out of D2B material.

Does anyone know how this compares to the A3N material that stock housings are made out of?
I know there were problems with those 11.5cm2 housings because the material was wrong, will this be suitable?

A3N apparently is 20% chromium, 10% nickel, 3% tungsten and 2% niobium.
The D2B is 20% Nickel, 3.5% Chromium, 3% Carbon, 2.25% Silicon, 1% Manganese (average numbers)
I still have no idea what this means lol

JDM 9RS turbos are. I had a 9RS with A3N housing, apparently better able to handle higher temps from antilag. Makinen turbos with TiAl turbine wheels I think also have A3N housings.
