A mechanic told me the EVO has self adjust valves, no need for a TUNE UP.

Is this true? or BS? he told me I dont need to have it tuned up coz it has self adjusting valves? So when do I need to replace the spark plugs? dont need to have the valves adjusted?

yeah he's right. We have hydraulic lifters that adjust automatically

Change the plugs every 6k. a stock evo runs so rich it will reduce there operating effciency quickly. Its a good way to spend 8 bucks twice a year.
