Most T3/T4 turbo kits pan out to cost around the $2000 price range. Much of the price can depend on the brand name or quality of parts included. Little things like braided oil lines add up quick as well. You can add $1000 easy just by choosing upgrades. Here's a typical breakdown of the parts keeping in mind that this doesn't include any fuel componets which are usually needed to support this kind of jump in power.

T3/T4 Turbo $900 ($500 for ball bearing)
35mm Wastegate $400 ($500 for 40mm)
Exhaust Manifold $450 ($600+ if tubular design)
O2 housing $250 ($400+ if tubular design)
Misc install hardware $200 (gaskets, hoses, washers, etc...)

agreed..

but to most people there's a huge difference between appx. 1700 bux (with supporting mods) and 3000+ (cus that's what you're really looking at with a full kit)..

personally i'm probably going for the full kit (AMS), but the bolt-on choice is a very valid choice.. when priced right..

There a lot of reasons the EVO kit is more. Our EVO kit is only $300 more. With that $300 you get all SS braided lines, 3" SS downpipe, SS radiator hose, etc, etc. These are things that don't come with the DSM kit.

We have the nicest kit on the market IMO. It is also one of the most affordable starting $1999. For what you are getting you will see what a bargain it is.

Our manifold is made of 8 gauge 321 SS and is guaranteed not to crack. It comes with a lifetime warranty on the manifold.

Just a little info on our kit. We offer two different style manifolds.

um.. i'm guessing you got that $300 figure from my 1700 estimate?.. the 1700 estimate includes injectors and pump etc..

your base kit is definitely the cheapest on the market tho .. i'll give you that!

I believe our complete DSM kit is $1749 reg price. Our complete EVO kit is $1999.

All our turbo kits include everything you need to bolt onto your EVO. Most everyone has already done a s-afc 2, Exede, etc before they upgrade their turbo. So that is why we will have options of reflash, s-afc 2 settings for each kit. EMS and Autotronic as well.

Most people won't need them because they already have some type of engine management before they upgrade their turbo so it would just be a waste, but we do have the option.
