Do they make any claims about pressure drop induced lag versus the stock unit?

How many pounds heavier? The intercooler is about as far forward as anything on the evo and I wonder how much it will change the weight distribution forward.

How did you get it free and how did you trash your stock unit?
Bird? Rock? Snow?

This is a good point. I red a mag article on aftermarket intercoolers on fords. Even though the aftermarket cooler where larger (in all dimensions), there flow rates where lower than the stock item, thus inducing more lag I would imagine.
