Wiseco's tend to be pretty heavy though.

As for shelf-stock, manley seems to have some pretty good options on compression ratio and compression height to work in long rod/stroker setups.

If I had a setup I didn't want to touch/replace again, it would be Wiseco HDs and Manley Turbo Tuff rods.

Sounds good, ive been debating on full manley rotating assembly to build a 2.2 or using manley turbo tuff crank 93mm, bc rods, and wiseco pistons to make optimum power

definitely wiseco pistons. I say manley rods though. Manleys pistons have a faughlty design so literally every set that was used recently in their new design ended up cracking and warping. The wiseco pistons design is a lot thicker with bigger wrist pins and are used by a lot of big name tuners in their high hp cars. Although manley was confronted about this problem and is completely redesigning their piston which should be released soon. I myself had this issue with manley and switched to the wiseco hd pistons

Same here on my recent 2.3L build. Everyone who I respect recommended Wiseco. CP is also a very good choice.

Any strutted piston (i.e Wiseco 1400HD) is better than a full circle at keeping skirt collapse away. I have seen Manley pistons crack in the skirt and bend the light duty wrist pins (.150 wall I believe). The Wiseco arent that much heavier but even then we take off the shelf pistons, put them in Jeff's car, and run low 8's. The 0.225 pin (JE offers a .250) and the pistons inherently quiet nature compared to other pistons at similar PTW make them my choice.
