Engine Brake In question

Hi Guys

I have searched over the forum the threads with engine brake in mileage and found that you are making only 50-80 miles to brake in the engine

I have just rebuilt my engine with 86mm oversize CP pistons, Eagle rods, 0.25 size rod and main bearing and all this required machine work, machinist assembled my engine told me that I have to drive not more then 3K RPM for 650 miles to properly brake in the engine or bearing and piston rings will not be fit/brake in properly that can cause a problems in the future, bearing can spun or so.

Already did the half of it and its boring, driving an EVO till 3K RPM

so my question is, how you guys are braking in the engines in just 50-80 miles, what if I will start using the engine normally and tune it with that mileage I have now?

I am using 10W-40 Japanese made oil for braking in the engine and then moving to 10W-50 or 10W-60 race oil from Elf or Motul

Really need you suggestion on this

Engine break-in steps:
1. Strap car to dyno.
2. Letr' rip.
