cam, spring and retainer install!!??
cam, spring and retainer install!!??
ok guys ive been reading on here for a few hours, here is what i have gathered, oh and i want to keep the head on the car.
1. i bought the snap on tool, with the easy magnet built in and all
2. there is many ways people believe in holding the valve stems up and keep timing.
3 i need to bleed lifters.
most of my question is on the timing/valve stem topic.
best way to keep timing on? (put car in 3rd with ebrake up and keep all spark plugs in except teh one ur compressing air into, but do i keep cam gears ziptied and pressure on belt and realign cam to gears then after? or the string method and turning crank with tension on belt? which is best, sounds like first way would be easier as long as the timing doesnt jump?
whats your guys input or what method did you use? thanks for ur input!!
