Stock DV and aftermarket BOV

Was looking at my engine bay today and notice something. It has the stock 8 plastic DV and a HKS BOV setup.

Is this right? Car runs/drives great, no problems yet. Had the car for 2 months now.

never heard of a car having both, but one of the best mods i ever did to my car was adding a synapse Diverter Valve and aby from Mil.spec's spring. i would get rid of both for a synapse unit. post some pics so we can help you more.

I was thinking the same thing too. I have the ARC intake box. I'll post some pics later. The DV is in between the intake and uicp. The BOV is on the uicp.

Its not supposed to two BOV's. There are some Evos fully built that run dual tials, but that is because they obviously need it. You dont need two different bov/dv on your car. I would get rid of both, and get a stock IX DV and recirculate it and call it a day. Or you could get a Tial QR. I would go with a Tial QR.
