I have a couple funnels picked up from the local autoparts store that have a larger diameter opening on the bottom, which fits snugly in the radiator opening, and whenever I have to remove something that requires draining coolant I use this method, fill the coolant up into the funnel so it is high above the rest of the cooling system, then basically just start with the coolant lines going to the firewall and keep squeezing them to work any air bubbles around and out, you can do this before even starting the car. you'll know if you find any since they will bubble out of the funnel..

You also can start the car with it like this, and continue to try working them around, however as soon as the coolant becomes hot enough to expand you'll start overflowing the funnel and I wouldn't recommend that, so if you're going to try that keep it brief.

That "should" work out any air pockets if there are

You the man, stan. I had the system pressure tested, and re flushed and bled the system. I definitely wouldn't have been able to figure this out with all your guys help. Thanks a lot!

Totally had air in the system, as well as a little low on coolant

I appreciate the advice, so let me get this straight:

-Cut a funnel that will fit snug in the top of the radiator
-Fill that funnel up with coolant so it is above the whole cooling system
-and i guess squeeze the lines? i don't get that part but thats probably because i barely know how the whole cooling system works. I'll try it next time though.

Thanks

Curious to hear if this was resolved, and if so, what the issue was.
