GSC S2 Cams Sharing...

Hi,
im sharing this info that my friend have managed to improved his car low end response after he advance a tooth on his GSC S2 cams on his 2L engine with a GT35R turbo.

Its a obvious result and to surprise the mid and top end done seem to lose much power either.

Was that the Intake cam? Anyhow, This is why we have adjustable gears.

I'd do an adjustable cam. I use a piece of tape on the timing belt and mark where the timing mark is on the cam gear, then swap the gears while holding the belt to prevent slack. It'll take about 10 minutes once the valve cover is off to break the cam gear bolt loose. I did all this without using a timing belt tensioner tool.
