turbine cross section

Am I right in assuming the cross section when measured in cm3 is measured where the inner and outter part of the scroll meet? IE the section in red?

No thoughts?
I have searched quite a lot on this and haven't found anything 100% definitive.

Either way can someone get me a rough idea of the cross section at that point on any EVO twin scroll turbo and let me know which housing it is that was measured?

Ok since I can't find any definitive answers on this does anyone have a twin scroll housing they would sell cheap. Does not have to be in operating condition as long as it's still dimensionally correct.

Or could anyone measure for me roughly the cross sectional area where I marked in red and also the width of gap where the exhaust flows through the housing into the turbine?

It's cm^2, as it is an area measurement.

It is taken where the scroll starts, which the EVO housing actually comes into the scroll at about 20 degrees. I have sectioned the housing below at the point where the area is roughly taken and it measured out to 9.6cm^2 and it is a 9.8cm housing.

Within reason of casting/manufacturing tolerances.

If you want to buy a cheap, pre-cut turbine housing, send me a PM. I've got an accruate solid model of the internal sections in solidworks as well...
