Anyone ever used Castrol Edge 10w-30?

Anyone ever used Castrol Edge 10w-30?

I came across some oil for free, I always use mobil one, but was wondering if this stuff is good enough? thanks for reading.

Wow...an oil thread where everyone can agree on one oil. Like everyone said, it will be fine. Any major brand 0-10W - 30 oil will be ok to use on the evo.

The exact same oil I've used in my Altima 3.5 for 19k miles now with no issues. With the bad rep that Mobil 1 has now, I'd bet the Castrol is better.

Mobil 1 has a bad rep wow news to me. Oh you mean the lessening of Zinc and Phos levels in their normal blend. Guess what no difference with the edge either

No worries though its literally a non issue in your OEM 4G63 engine.

Castrol recommends their 5w50 for those flat tappet engines where the increased levels of ZDDP are needed
