Higher boost with 3" turbo back exhaust

I just put on the UR 3" turbo back and my boost is going up to 1.5-1.6 bar (22psi). Is this ok for an otherwise stock car? Can the engine handle boost like this for extended periods? would it be best to get a boost controller and just bring the boost down? I dont want to do any damage to my engine with just a TB exhaust.

Thanks

If you dont have manual boost controler - or didnt play with boost - its fine no worries. It will hit about 22psi when you're on the 4th gear or 5th and driving on the hway..

I agree - it's also partially due to the cold weather.

I see 22 PSI all the time, and I have the 2.5" UR exhaust.

Yeah I think it is only short bursts of 22psi so I think it will be ok. Dang it feels fast.

Be careful.

I put a 3" catless Buschur turboback on my car without a boost controller and hit 23 PSI+ and fuel cut. I then bought a boost controller to get it under control.
