Anyone ever think about putting a WRX boost gauge in your Evo?

I really like Subarus stock boost gauge set up like on the WRX and STI. I am wondering if anyone has thought about doing this on there Evo? Just curious to is anyone knows what color the boost gauge lights up?

Thanks
Chris

its green i think

But why would you want to put a WRX guage in there?

Why not something better and put it in the same spot?

I like the fact that the WRX guage is smaller. I don't think I would like a huge guage in my face you know?

I thought about it before I got my 60mm APEXI peice.

If I were going to do it though, I would just use the pod and get an aftermarket guage to put in it. The factory guage that came in my WRX was a POS. I think a 42 or 43mm will fit it.

I wanted to pull my 45mm Lamco and the pod before I traded my WRX in, but my friends told me it would be ghetto. In retrospect, I should've. I lost that and my 45mm Omori EGT, and I'd love to have both of those now.

Edit: At least I sold the Omori. But I want a frickin' boost gauge.

I just bought the WRX boost guage and everything needed to install it. It comes in one package as an accesory. It looks easy to install. I will post pics and reviews when I am done installing it.

funny, that's going to be my first mod...

They are pretty easy to install. When I do mine, I am going to use an omori 45mm boost gauge instead of the stock unit.

Isn't that stock WRX gauge like $200 for a tinny mechanical boost gauge? Also, it reads in Mbar don't it? Stock EVO boost would be .13 on that scale, does it even go up that high?
