Selling so many engines clearly shows that people like them because they perform. period!!!

My buddy is going back into an EVO VIII RS this week. We already started planning on the BR engine setup! LOL

I build every single engine that leaves this building, EVERY single one.

All blocks are built the same way, depending of course on what is ordered. We also build engines differently depending on the use, from the size of the engine to the compression, the materials used in them etc. I do not however take extra time or change clearances etc., to make an engine for "Emery" run better and last longer than one for "Joe blow from Utah". I think that's what you were actually asking and the answer is absolutely not.

The best thing I can do is build a guy the correct engine for what he needs and make it last through anything he throws at it. When I do that he sends his friends and from the looks of our engine building schedule that plan works out. In the last two weeks we've shipped 12 engines. This week looks like another 5-7 engine builds going out of here.
you guys should definitely advertise this!! with some other shops its a question who's really building the motor

We will see. It's always easy to talk. I'd like to see someone do it and I'd really like it to be someone I am not only helping do it but also good friends with. It is not in my plans, I have no desire to chase records anymore with the EVO personally.
I'm a big fan of records being broken its what keeps te sport alive. The only reason I found 7s for an Evo right now funny is because it seems big power Evos have been stuck around that 8.7 area and 7s seem so far away. Not saying its not possible by any means.

David is right, The car went an 8.75 last year and went 8's over and over again. Last year I never even power shifted the car. This year, when the car is done, it will be a completely different car. It will still be nice but it will be a lot lighter and should be able to get the power to the ground. I don't want to bench race as it might not even work but I can only hope it will be a lot faster. I guess if your not trying different things then your not trying hard enough.

As for passes on this motor, I have to assume its over 150 maybe even closer to 200. Last year, not one single part on the car broke so we were at it quite often. We also put a ton of street miles on the car racing stretched 1000's and anything else around here that was fast.

Given there have been 3 EVOs run in the sub 8.4s range in Oz and NZ in the last good part of a decade (including one which broke into the 7s) its not that unrealistic

People were laughing a few years back at the idea of Evo's running 10's on a T3 turbo. Now an Evo running 10's with a stock appearing turbo is as common as a 60 year old woman in an automatic Corvette.
