Here is another example of how well these motors perform. I decided to have L19 head studs installed on my BR 2.0. This is how my motor looked after driving from Wakeman, Oh to Tampa, FL. Then from Tampa to San Diego, CA. The motor saw numerous dyno pulls (93 then switched to 91) and lets just say lots of spirited driving. Granted the top of the pistons were cleaned to remove carbon build-up, but check out those walls

Just curious, how long will a built motor like that last as a 450 whp daily driver, not used for racing?

This is with Rev limit 7800 rpm, properly tuned, maintained, and driven. Would the tolerances be consistent enough to last that of a stretch fastened OEM engine at 400 whp?

Wouldnt it be cool to do a video of your customer's torn downs? You can say, here there is your problem and have proof.

Video would not work on mobile devices.

This particular engine is using aluminum rods. For an engine like you are asking about I wouldn't put aluminum rods in it but other than that it should go 100,000+ miles.
