Does this ECU look fried?

After having my car running fine one and not starting the next, I checked everything I think of and was on the internet for hours a day getting info. No sparks, fuel or CEL. Fuel get to the rail, has constant 12Vs to the crank position sensor, injectors and coil plugs but no signal to the injectors or coils when cranking. CPS gets a signal when the trigger plate goes through the sensor as it should. I logged the timing and RPM while cranking and got some outrageous values, timing at 61* with the key on and fluctuating randomly up to 200+* and RPM up to 8k in just a few seconds of cranking.

I let my tuner know this and he said to pull the ECU and check the board which was a common thing I saw on DSM forums. I had several ECUs fry in my 240SX when doing the SR20 swap 10 years ago and the ECU never looked pretty. The board looked okay at first but started looking closer and found these and added a pic of a new ECU board for comparison. Circled are 4 parts that don't have a shiny, smooth surface like the others. They have a rough texture as if heated up with a lighter and has a dry, brown surface around those areas. Not sure if these are bad as other ECUs I've seen were obviously damaged.

Can't really tell by your pictures, even with pictures you can't be certain the components are bad unless they have extensive damage...

I was very hard to get clear pics. I'm running out of options as everything else I know of that causes no spark or fuel has been tested and is good. Even after checking every single fuse 3 times, I took a test light and touched both sides of every fuse to make sure it had power to each side and still all good. Tried 2 cam angle sensors and 2 sets of coils and still no spark. Has power to injectors and coil, just nothing actuating them while cranking. EvoScan is picking up a timing and RPM signal, just not the correct ones.

I may as well buy another ECU to try out as I haven't gotten any good suggestion from the other threads I've posted. I don't personally know anyone with an Evo let alone one any closer than 70 miles from me for me to borrow one from. If it doesn't so anything, I can just resale it or keep as a spare.

Here's 2 logs that are just a few seconds long of the car cranking to show the timing and RPM values if anyone would like to have a look.

Did you replace your crank sensor...i know you tested it but...i have seen them do stupid things. Sounds like your going thru this with a fine tooth comb tho. No spark at all or studder /pops?

Car just cranks and doesn't attempt to start. Crank sensor is good as I put in the 1st post. I put a test light on the blue wire and it lights up when the trigger plate goes past the sensor, I did this while cranking the engine and turning it over by hand. I had one get damaged during a cam swap back in '04 and it was the 1st thing that came to mind when I saw no spark this time as well as fuses. Looking for a good ECU if anyone has one to sell.

You should try and find another ECU to swap, or if you know anyone that has an ECU you could swap to test that. Some of those pics make some of the chips soldered onto the chip look bad, as if they had something spilled on them. Did water make it to the ECU? You can see the outline of corrosion all over the ECU itself.

I can't see any way that any liquid could have made it to the ECU, it was bolted in the factory location. I'm still sitting here studying the board hoping I find something more wrong with it because if it's not the problem, I have no clue where to look next. I used a test light to test every wire on the ECU plugs and the MPI relay wire and every wire that powers the ECU and all sensors tested out fine as well as the grounds.

OP did you resolve this issue? If so, what was the culprit?

And so what? Why don't you go back to solving fueling issues and at least attempt to be helpful there. Are you going to recommend me an Aeromotive 340 pump to solve a potential fried ecu problem?

The immobilizer was messed up. When I disabled it with ECUFlash and it started right up.
