boost drop after intake?

boost drop after intake?

Lost a psi and a half after installing a aem cai. Is this due to more volume to fill?
The evo 9 bov didnt seem to want to fit down in it very well either.

I didn't know AEM made a cold air intake for the evo.

can't be more volume that is before the turbo, diverter valve leaking?

Im thinking that is what it is. Ill do a boost leak check and go from there. The diverter valve didnt want to sit in the intake properly is it is.
