Is a clutch pedal stop required with a QM clutch and a HTOB?

Will be installing my QM 8 leg race version this week and wondering if i need the clutch pedal stop since everyone who converts to push, gets them.

Thanks

Also where do i purchase one?

I just moved my throttle pedal stop over to the clutch and works fine. ToxicFab makes some nice ones too

Never used a stop with my QM 8 leg, but I had it adjusted so that overstroking the clutch was impossible.

Bumping this back up since I found a new option that can be used; just bought this and moved my throttle stop back to the stock location. Got mine on Ebay cheaper than AMS' website:

Required?
No

Highly desirable?
Yes

There is a good 3" of "dead" travel at the bottom and eliminating 2" of it does wonders for improving drivability.

agreed. I love the way the pedal stop worked durring daily driving and i havent got to race with it on.

Parts i used was a m6 1.0 thread pitch coupler nut (barrell nut) m6 nut on each side of the coupler to lock in the position of an M6 35mm counter sunk allen head bolt. Parts found at my local hardware store. Btw Im running the old style QM

how do we measure it. if thats the right term.

what i mean is i have a tilton peddle stop. the ''stop'' has a threaded rod on it and a nut which can be adjusted but length. how do we determine the proper length adjustment.

did i make any sense at all? haha
