o2 dump vs. o2 housing
Map is VERY good too, however it is only 2.5 inches off the turbo. After that it still has to neck down to the stock doughnut gasket which is even smaller then 2.5 inches and THEN you have to marry it to the stock sized downpipe which eventually necks out to 3.0's.
Or you can get my pipe which is 3.0 inches off the turbo, very large dump, is bunged for a wideband.
Again I run one it rules, I just have two now was gona use it for another project which never materialized.. Brand new never used.

I love my jmf dump. I got the newest version as its one piece for the tube and no welds. It sounds great and I gained 16whp from it at its highest point. It's loud as hell but when I'm in wot I don't care that it's super loud.
Scared a few people.
I've never had an issue with it.

So it sounds to me like if your running less than 25psi the o2 dump isn't the best option? I've been going back and fourth with a Megan 02 housing or going all out with a dump but I want boost control, I run 21psi daily and only turn it up on rare occasions... Someone clear this up, do you have control with the dump or is it a minimum of 25 or so psi constantly?
The best exhaust after the turbo is NO exhaust. After that you are hurting performance. However you may deal with a spike issue with a stock turbo. I run a FP RED so the dump only helps spool and holding boost. A stock IX turbo would ROCKET to attention with a full dump so tuning MAY be an issue if it spikes too high.
Never heard of people having creep with a dump. I thought thats what dumps were made forwas to eliminate creep issues.Im running one and love Iit... I have more control over boost now and it holds rock steady where ever I set it at.
i have the muse dump, and the dump pipe has contact with the rad it will need some mod to clear it. I have a works understray so the exhaust gas from the dump get bounce back. otherwise good upgrade.
on stock 9 turbo crusing is not loud at all, only loud wot and cold idle.

I'm sure google can find this answer for you. But since we're here...the 02 dump will allow you to make more peak whp and it will also free up spool by eliminating back pressure which will allow your turbo to make more torque. The nice thing about the MAP 02 eliminator downpipe is its one piece, not two. So it'll be a full 3 inch pipe, not a 2.5in to 3in. There will also be one less potential exhaust leak.i have the muse dump, and the dump pipe has contact with the rad it will need some mod to clear it. bump- would love to hear more from those who switched over to an o2 dumper. i currently have the MAP recirculating downpipe (dumps back into the downpipe itself) but i'm thinking of doing an o2 dump- the question is how much whp can i expect once tuned? I'd think 10whp or so (currently at 420whp dynojet).
