E85 question...

So I was wondering, since I'm new to E85, if I need a bigger injector to run it. My current setup is in my signature. Turbo is completely stock along with a Wally 255hp and FIC 1050's. I made a tad over 400whp on AWD's dynojet on 30lbs and 110 octane race gas. I've been told the car would probably make more on E85. Do I need a bigger injector though? I figured with stock turbo I should be fine but I wanted to make sure before I got the car tuned again.

On a stock turbo I'd say no. Fic 1050s are good injectors and should be more then enough for e85. There is a formula you can use. cfm x .33 = x, take x and add it to the cfm and it gives you what injector size it should be so in your case figure 650x.33=214.5 then add the 214.5 to 650 and that gives you 864.5 so 1050s should be more then enough for your setup.

You should be fine, you will run out of turbo before you run out of injector...those will support more than that turbo should make

Mine sit right around 70% duty cycle at current, I should have no problems turning it up.

Ok thanks guys. I was thinking I wouldn't need more injector with stock turbo. My next set of mods will probably be o2 housing, hard intake pipe for SD setup, and might port the turbo.
