Fock man! I can't imagine this car with bost turned all the way up with high 800 to low 900whp. Absolutely ridiculous. Auto may be better for drag, but the manual is definitely more fun though!!!

 

I think that a dogbox with a sequential shifter is the ideal setup for drag, however the cost is prohibitive for most since we are talking more than 10K in parts only, plus the noise and maintenance requirements...

The air shifter simply adds the benefit of having both hands on the steering wheel and you actually need them since you would see this kind of setup in very powerful cars.

The auto until is fully developed cannot be called the best solution for the evos even for drag, since you have only four gears and you very limited in terms of gear solution. Of course it's much more friendly for a street car and the cost will be much less plus the cost of a very expensive clutch every so often is eliminated!

Here's an incar of a sequential shifter setup in a powerful street evo... I am actually emailing them to persuade them to also get the air shifter! LOL

The launch inconsistacy and price is what worries me about a set-up like that compared to an auto but the lightning fast shifts seem like tons of FUN
