I've been looking for offroad videos because I'm worried about the lack of torque to climb hills, but fear no more!
Look at the degree of this climb!
Wow, they ford a foot of water and drift on dirt in this video!

Well, I'm not so sure doing 0-60MPH in 3.5sec out in the "backroads" is wise...
Check out what happened to this poor chap >
(Watch out - them li'l off-road rocks, will getcha...)

Who says I'm going 0-60 on backroads?
I do my racing on actual road courses and drag strips.
I've seen that video before, pretty fail-tastic "driving" if you want to call it that. Never mind that he is crossing the double yellow lines, that road is no place to be pushing the limits by any means especially when he doesn't even slow down to the right entry speeds for those blind corners, leave it to the rally drivers. I mean he didn't even attempt to slow down and turn the wheel before flying off the road. Oh well, Daddy will have to buy him another BMW...

Well, I can't read minds you know...
I just presumed when you said 0-60 in 3.5s with your EVO X that you can achieve this level of Awesomeness on any road surface (less rain, ice/snow, of course.)
PS: Speaking of.. would you have any vids of said EVO X doing awesome on track?
PSS: Agreed. That kid was very lucky he didn't hurt himself with that kind of unskilled driving.

Just finished my NARRA weekend at Watkins Glen and I'll be editing and uploading videos over the next couple days. I'll post links from my signature to not clog up the threads here but I did manage a 4th place on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday despite being held back by Hankook R-S3 street tires. I lost about 2 seconds from the leaders due to being 50 whp under TT3 class allowed limits which was my own fault. Then my street tires contributed to me losing 2-3 seconds by not having Hoosier R6 tires or 5-6 seconds versus Pirelli Motorsports slicks.
My friend Mike Hayes in his Nissan GTR ran 2:08-2:09 on street tires in the Fall where I ran recently 2:10.3 on my street tires with ~50 whp less. This weekend he went on to take 2nd on Saturday with a 2:05 on Hoosier R6 tires and after wearing one down to the cords on the front he bought the Pirelli slicks for Sunday and took 1st with a 2:02.6! So the data points to my being right in the mix if I can get all the components lined up.
I plan on getting my horsepower closer to max for class and I'm trying to get into a set of Pirelli tires for the next race at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Maybe I can find a sponsor to help pad the cost of another set of wheels and race tires as this is going to get really expensive for a TT3 spec car!

"you can also turn off the traction control. Drivin' Ivan definitely thanks you shouldn't do that with you really know what you're doing"
God forbid you unleash all 148 HP on an unsuspecting snowy road

Here's an oldy (vid review from 2010) covering the ASX doing a road course demo:
acceleration, hairpin turns, deep water drive thru, wet surface maneuvering, & slalom

(Hopefully the Moderator doesn't consider this double posting.)
I just wanted to add this same video* here so to have it easily referenced.
