okay guys i got a very annoying problem. two of them acually.
about 2 months ago i installed a comp. stage 4 six puck sprung clutch kit with a comp lightweight flywheel on my evo 8. after about 600 miles i noticed a small leak from between my tranny and t-case and an annoying squeak.
the squeak only happens at idle, when i press in my clutch and let out it goes away for a few seconds and then it comes back.
im at 1,800 miles now on this clutch and i just dropped the tranny again and replaced the throw out bearing with a new oem one and replaced the big o-ring between the tranny and t-case.
anyways, the this still squeaks at idle...
and i think it may still be leaking... i threw a big peice of carboard under my car to make sure, so ill let you guys know tomarrow.
anyone have any idea on what is causing that squeak??
oh yeah, i was reading up on loose flywheel bolt, i should of checked that.. but when i originally installed the clutch and lightweight flywheel i used a badass impacted to take the bolt off and to install the flywheel, so i doubt they are loose lol.
anyone have any idea on what is causing that squeak??
and where eles that stupid leaking is coming from?
its not transfer case fluid leaking i dont think because its thin like the fluid in my tranny and doesnt smell like diaqueen.. so idk
thanks alot guys
