Should not consume more fuel if properly tuned... for instance I will be running ID 2000, overkill on my part indeed, but they give me room to grow and they can easily tuned for a lower duty cycle/hp level

They have to be tuned... If you have 1000cc and 2000cc injectors both at 80% duty cycle then yes the 2000cc will spray alot more... ID are known to be great to be tuned safely and reliably at lower duty cycles

2000cc injectors on a 120 hp

Bigger injectors have bigger orfices to allow more fuel to enter the system. when bigger then needed injectors are used then the duty cycle will need to be lower to ensure the orfice is opend for a shorter time when compared to a smaller injector

As said above, you really can't go wrong with ID or FIC injectors.

I hear ID's are where its at. Yes the FICs and ID's ARE the exact same injector. but the ID's are flow tested in large batches and are matched up in groups that have the same flow rates unlike the FIC's. All injectors are not made even. Example a FIC 2150 with a base pressure of 40psi and duty cycle of 5% may not flow the same as an identical FIC 2150 with a base pressure of 40psi and duty cycle of 5%. However it IS the same for ID's because they have been matched from the factory. The difference in price is the quality control. I'd say its worth it when your pushing this much fuel for alot of hp. you wouldn't want one cylinder to go lean or 1 cylinder to be rich. This robs HP and it can cause a potential detonation hazard.

I would go with FIC. Their matching is extremely well. I have a set of 1100's in my Evo and i love them. Their customer service is by far the best. Any issues and you can call them up and they will help you figure it out or fix it. They have been know to take care of ID's customers when ID would no longer take care of them.

+1 for Fuel injector clinic

I would use the FICs. You have 3 basic options in the size you are requesting, James.

FIC 900s (Hi-z)
FIC 950s (low-z)

and on the outside the FIC1100 (Hi-z)

I believe high z= high impedence = finer spray, requires a small plug and play adapter or some such. you can read all about it by searching here
