I did have a Tilton stop and it was setup like Tilton says to do theirs. I was actually told by a trusted vendor who uses these clutches to use the oem pedal stop now. I get my new QM TOB today.

Joey (EvoSick) I guess uses the OEM pedal stop too.

And for the record my motor uses the OEM 2.0l crank.

Did you fix yours and have had an issue since???

I called quarter masters and spoke to a rep. He said they just recently started to make the slider bearings shorter then the old version. So from now on people won't have problems....hopefully . Ima go measure the clearance again with my friend to confirm.

So are you guys saying that the TOB shouldn't be touching the pressure plate fingers, do you mean at all times? Meaning that even after you bleed the clutch line and there is pressure on the TOB should it be making contact with the clutch fingers? Or are you refering to before you bleed the line and there is no pressure on the TOB and it is sitting flush.

before and after bleeding should not affect whether or not the bearing hits the fingers. the throw out bearing should not be extended more with fluid in it than it would be with just air in it. the TOB should not be touching the fingers when clutch pedal is in at rest. you wont be getting max clamping force if TOB is pushing on fingers. clutch pedal should have about 10-20mm free play before TOB actually touches the fingers.
