so did anyone solve this problem or the only issue is to sell the set?

 

Sounds like your best bet is to buy the used sender mentioned earlier in the thread.

 

^ agreed. They are ridiculously easy to wire in... And the temp sensor is a single wire so you can let that dangle initial you find a sensor. Certainly isn't going hurt anything in the meantime and I would hold out until someone throws one up for cheap. Best of luck!
