AFAIK, the temp sensor isn't sold separately.

Yes.

I also recall something about the sensor being calibrated per a specific gauge set, but I'm really not positive about that.

Like FJF said, the sensor isn't sold separately, as strange as it sounds, it is how it is.
As far as wiring, what exactly do you need? Boost, volt and oil gauge all get + for light, a ground, and oil gauge has two extra wires that go to the sensor, that's it.

Check out the part from Subaru. The Mitsu gauges look identical (different units of measurement) to the Subaru Lamco's.

I know, I was thinking the same. When I had my STi I think my Subaru dealer wanted somewhere in the realm of 175. I never bothered though and just let that gauge sit dead. Now I have a dead egt sensor on a greddy gauge that I cant wait to fix.

Even if someone was desperate enough to pay that much for a sensor alone, the subaru sensor won't fit, because the oil pan hole/thread is completely different. I know because my brother has an STI with oem gauges, and the sensor is bigger.
