Major Problems!
to OP, as others have stated.... boost leak check.... I would also check the engines mechanical timing, because cam timing can also do exactly what you are describing... also if you have mevic cam timing, check that ECU table for that too just to be certain.

The problem is as follows. To start with, i have checked all lines and hoses and all seem to be good. With that said, car just seems to be dead. When i give it any gas at all it just bogs down and sputters really bad. This is intermittent however as it will do this for a few seconds then the power will kick in but immediately start acting up again. After awhile of driving, the car feels like it barely has enough power to even leave from a stoplight.
There aren't any mods to the car and i just changed the plugs a few weeks ago. Had my local tuner update the ecu with the most up to date factory settings and the car ran fine for a couple weeks then just went downhill from there. Starting to get frustrated guys so please, HELP! Also SES light is on and throwing the P0401 code, check the vacuum lines and their good.
