OEM cat / emissions dilemma

Hi -- I just picked up a 2006 EVO 9 - The down pipe was bent so I bought a used OEM one from someone else and I believe it is from an EVO 8. It does NOT have an O2 bung on it (I don't know if the old one had an o2 bung either).

The rest of the exhaust is 3" custom with no cat.

I've made some inquiries to people selling their stock cats and they're saying there isn't an O2 bung on their cat either......so where does my 2nd o2 sensor go? My CE light is on P0136 because I do not have a O2 sensor plugged in (nowhere to put it!)

Someone is selling me their stock cat, would I be better off putting an o2 simulator on it?

Your thoughts are appreciated.
