I recommend a FORGE UNOS or Grimmspeed. They both have feature Hallmans that dont.

Hallman MBC are non bleeder boost controllers, I would guess thats why so many people that use MBCs buy Hallman. You dont want to use a bleeder type if you end up T'd off the BOV line, instead of from the turbo elbow. I am using the Bushur LICP that goes all the way to the turbo, replacing the elbow all together.

All MBCs used by EVO owners are "non bleeders". The proper term is "spring and ball" MBC, as opposed to a bleeder style MBC, which is more like an fish tank valve, used to control boost in the old days. I havent seen a Bleeder style MBC in a long long time.Originally Posted by novem

The Hallman, FORGE UNOS, Grimmspeed, buschur racing, etc are all "spring and ball" MBCs.

I think some MBCs are bleeder type, like Turbo XS..but its been a while since I was looking for boost controllers.

As far as "features" go for a mbc there should only be one to look at; how well it holds boost. If you want features, get an electronic boost controller.
