Issues with fabbing 4" SD intake, Input?

Looking for an easy solution.. I picked up some 4" U-bends, filter, blah blah. The fitment is super close to the front mount but I can fit a coupler past it, just worried about the motor moving, etc and wearing a hole into it so I may end up notching that..

2nd, this fan is simply not going to work -- does anyone have a proven SLIMM fan that will fit here so I can fit a 4" pipe?

Any help would be great! Pics are attached for help.

Wow that turbo sits low. If you are not running a/c you can always put the fan on the front side of the radiator. If not, I have a slim fan on my car that ~ 2" thick.

As far as the intake, you will have to trim or make a new trans motor mount. To be honest that turbo placement is less then ideal, and would look into an alternative. I can't imagine how small your oil drain line is.

Edit.. Looking at the picture again you will be able to slip a 4" coupler in there with enough grinding. I would purchase this:

Yea it sits low, the kit was fabbed for a 50 trim which had a much smaller compressor housing and I threw on a 6262. It all works well as far as drain and everything goes, I'm thinking I could notch the trans mount and possibly use that coupler you sent me, that might work..

Do you have pics of the fan you are using? I was looking at the Flex-a-lite 123 fan that STM sells, looks like the motor is flat from the pics.. mine is too bulky at the moment and is the big hindrance.

A) You should feed your turbo from the oil filter housing, post filter, rather than from the head.

B) Unkink that coolant line.

What is wrong with the coolant line? The 6262 doesn't require coolant anymore.

A 4" 45* pipe and a 4" 45* coupler. With a k&n filter. I think I have $90 invested in it. Everything purchased from siliconeintakes.com

If its ball bearing, you dont want much pressure for oil. I run an hta86, feed line from the head with a restrictor on the turbo.

You're fine with how you have it run. I've run all my oil feed lines like you have it without any issues.

I digress. This is how I learn .

I was always told that feed from housing is better. Wrong.

I also didn't know that PTE stuff didn't have provisions for coolant lines!

Fail for me. Carry on, gentlemen.

what manifold is that? seems like poor placement to begin with. this is my setup with fullrace manifold, cbrd slim rad/fan. used a 4" coupler, some 4" piping, and got a filter from verocious motorsports 7" long.

im gonna be making my own 4" intake shortly for the switch to SD. silioneintakes.com has most of what we need. still lookin for a good dry filter that isnt overpriced.

i havent realy looked at my turbo placement, i have the shearer manifold. but after seeing this maybe i should go out and double check my parts list.
