HKS 272 install, stright up or +3?

Interested to see what is the best set-up for the Buschur Stage 3. Anybody have dyno pulls with 0 and +3 on the cams? How about it pulls below 4K on the +3?

Yes I think Shiv from Vishnu posted them up. Not a huge gain but there is one and if you have the gears might as well utilize them.

On stock cams -5 gives you about 16whp up in the upper RPM ranges. I have seen this first hand on a dyno.

Interested to see torque curve with -3, 0, and +3. All the turbo cars I ahve had seem to come on much later with -3 to -5. Around town it made a huge diffrence running +3's.

Nastea, I did your e-mail on the lifters. This is the first car that I have put cams in and all of these extra noises make me a little uneasy.

in general advancing the cam gears will bring in the power lower in the rpm range, retarding the cams will move the power up the rpm range

What are the various options to run lets say +5 until 3200RPM then retard to -5 from 3200 to redline? Does an SAFC have this option or do you have to flash the ecu/run a stand alone?

you cant do that with normal cam gears.. we are talking CAM timing NOT ignition timing. those are 2 seperate things. cam timing is purley mechanical in the evo and cannot be changed on the fly
