Id take them spring clamps off and replace them with good hose clamps.

Gotcha. Maybe the samco hoses need the better clamping force when the pressure increases.

The coolant housings corrode and cause seepage. They are common to replace. I would powdercoat the water outlets and they wont seep anymore.
