Are the JDM VIII MR cams different than the other JDM VIII model Evos' cams? I am just wondering?

 

So, are you inquiring after different settings for cam timing? Do you want dyno results?

 

The cams are the same straight across the board for all USDM iterations of the VIII(RS, MR, GSR, and etc.) AFAIK. So, info as to timing settings for the JDM MR cams will be scarce. There is likely more info over on MLR as the British cousins received the same more radical grind VIII MR cams as the JDM MR's did.

 

Ah ok, yes I was just after some experience (if anyone had done it). They're no 'wilder' than the stock GSR cams, same duration and lift, but they have different lobe centrelines and LSA to shift the power band slightly higher to better match the 10.5 rear on the MR's.
