Since this is the drivetrain section....Im currently rebuilding my evo motor and when I drained the oil from my trans it first came out very black then got clear (been sitting for months) but mainly I found a smallmetalllpiece looks like a gear tooth and bunch of little metal shavings ...always ran Amsoil in it .it was rebuilt when it was at Buschur and had the bushwhacker rebuild but I don't have the time to ship it put somewhere nor rather not waste the shipping prices if I can get or done local....anyone in Jersey good with our evo transmissions?? I don't need a full rebuild it worked perfect but I want it checked out while the motor is put...anyone good granny shops in jersey or maybe Ny/pa??

Ended up finding out my friend is good with manual trannies (and most shops wanted $400 JUST to disassemble, inspect, and reassemble) so I have it to him to throw in a Jack's trans synchro kit and prob end up with a different final drive for lower rpm's on the highway....
