It seems the best shops for a rebuild service are in the mid Ohio region. Anyone know of shops in the NY,NJ,PA,CT area?

Living in NYC it is not ideal to have downtime on the DD to remove, ship, wait, return, install, etc...

I believe Turbotrix rebuilds tranny's, They're in NJ.

if you want it done in terms of bringing your car to a shop and having that same shop do it you have a few NJ options that I know of

Turbotrix sounds promising it would be nice to hear from people who had used them. Will look into dogbox...

Just want to get the car prepped for trackdays before the spring.

 

I rebuild the trannys no problem, we don't rebuild transfer cases.

We do a full line of tranny's , from mild to full race. Brandon ran 9.1 last yr on our tranny .. :-) , same one that is in our race car. We also do transfer cases

id like to know the answer to this as well as it would be good info to the OP...

do you guys do the whole core charge tranny replacement option ? if so... how much are you looking at total for say a IX core being sent in in working order with an upgraded tranny with 8 4th gear able to handle 600whp/500wtq

 

I believe toplevel auto does them as well, which are based in ny. So you have a pretty decent amount of shops to do a tranny rebuild

 

Turbotrix did my tranny ( as well as my engine build) and they are doing my transfer case now. I'm running 624whp and 512tq
