My competition stage 3 clutch is now on its way out!

Can't i just buy a clutch plate instead of replacing the whole set?

 

yes, depending on how the condition of your pressure plate is.

 

Well,i wouldn't know but i know the previous owner drove the car pretty hard.Raced and launched a lot.

i would definitely check the surface of the pressure plate, no hair line fractures and the wear. check the fingers as well. might still be good

 

i thought you have a comp 3 clutch coming in? people have mixed reviews about ACT, but i have no problem with heavy duty street clutch kit. also depends on your current torque levels

 

I can get a competition stage 4 for ZAR 5500.That's about $ 660-00.And it's at a reputable shop so they can install it as well.
On the other hand i can also import it myself.Just the shipping and import tax that's expensive.
