Low Boost

I have a 2008 MR with an AEM intake running Cobb AP Stage 2 LWG with the solenoid pill still in. I hooked up the AP to do some data logging and noticed I was only hitting 12 psi boost. The first picture is the hose that was connected from the T-clamp to the waste gate actuator. I replaced this hose but am still only hitting 12 psi. From what I can see, the boost pill is not in the hose to the turbo compressor outlet pipe (second picture). Would this result in only waste gate boost pressure and should everything be fixed if I installed with this pill from AMS?

These are the EVO 1-IX forums. Probably you will get better response over on the Evo X forums.

In general however, I would advise going down to the parts dept. of your local Mitsu dealership and purchasing the stock factory vacuum/boost hose assembly. These come pre assembled with the correct "pills", also called restrictor orifices.

But, I don't want to steer you wrong. As I said you may get more accurate advice over on the EvoX forums. GL

Hmmm. I just went back and looked at the attachment in your post. Yeah definitely go over to Evo X forums as that boost control setup looks to be way different than that used on Evo VIII/IX's.

Nope. I never did that on mine. Good luck though are the instructions included or do you need to find them online?

Whoops, sorry. I don't know how I ended up outside of the X forums. Thanks for the advice, I will go to the dealership tomorrow!
