Hello

I own an evo 7 rs2 with a 5 speed transmission. Some time ago i bought the synchros for evo 8 from 1 to 5 from jackstransmision, they have a good service too. I thought that those synchros will fit my evo 7 transmission because those are the same, but today my mechanic told me that those parts dont fit my gearbox.

So please, is there any evo 7 owner, who can tell me if those parts are the same or they have any difference??

own evo 7 5 speed
bought evo 8 synchros 5 speed

I have seen jacksTrans site as well. Call them or send them an email...and get from your mechanic exactly what doesnt fit where.
