I also have Bushcurs FMIC and full piping. I also noticed the welds and mentioned it a few
months ago but had no response and just let it go. I took some pictures and you camn clearly
see the spot. Close up you can see the welds. Don't get me wrong I love this FMIC ! ! !

I dont think i am being picky at all, just noting. I think that the welds are very good for a handmade unit, but it does lack the finished quality. I'll see how noticible it is when on my car. On a brighter note if the unit is as good as everyone claims ... then i am very happy.

Hey boooost ... did u ever install the br fmic and the aem intake? I am curious as I would like to do something similar round when i get a HUD, mbc, and some kind of ecu reflash.

Looks like the core had a few leaks. Thats how ya gotta fix'em Its either that or epoxy. Epoxy is less noticeable but less reliable.

Nothing to worry about.

Rather have it look like that than leak now or even later using epoxy. Just hope it holds.

Oh, the welds could be prettier and the whole thing could be polished and finished brightly, but it would no make it work any better and would only add to the cost...... The big question I have is about that sharp 90° bend at the inlet.... Does it not screw up the flow? AFAIK sharp bends like that are a no-no because of the flow restriction. Wouldn't a smooth, large radius be better?
