Hay mate

I have the above rods in my evo 9 and its meant to have the stronger rod bolts with them (carr).
My engine builder cannot confirm as to if it has the stronger bolts or not which is a pain.

I am changing my oil pan in the next few weeks and was thinking is there a way to tell them apart from the stamp on the head of the bolt? (looking up from under the motor) with out having to take one out?

Dose anyone know if they have different stampings?

My 3/8" Carr bolts have Carrillo stampings on them

Dose anyone know if the other numbers s6-s-a16 are exclusive to the carr bolts?

 

they should be stamped

 

The Carr bolts will start with the letter "S"
WMC bolts start with "H"

Just waiting on a bunch of parts from Buchur including there oil pan and will be able to find out

 

anyone have the torque specs for h-11 tool steel bolts? they have H6 on the bolt head
