World Time Attack qualifying: #1 Nemo / EFR 8374 #2 Tilton / S300SX
it was actually the first turbo i ordered. geoff told me someone was really hard up for one and that he wanted to trade spots in line for it. my car was far from done so i sent it back and got another a couple months later. my car still isnt done though.
i am glad that turbo is being put to good use!

Nemo is absolutely amazing. Such a beautiful car. I love the aero, the motor, the turbo, everything is a masterpiece. I do think the tube frame cars are "cheating" for a production car class, but this will probably be the last year they are legal in the same class. Hopefully they'll be back for a tube frame class.

The times Nemo has managed aren't at 800hp. They raced most of the time at 450hpatw and had a boost leak when they decided to put the boost up a bit.
After fixing the leak they managed the winning lap of 1:25.02. It was done at 26psi and about 550 - 575hpatw.
Shows how bloody good this thing is. you don't need the power to go fast.

Nemo is built from a Evo 7, it is not a tube frame car it has the original Evo floorpan and front struts etc as per the rules, the exhaust routing is due to aero and other parts fitment.
The 1.25.02 was on track for a 1.24.7 but the driver noticed smoke on the 2nd or 3rd last corner and backed off, it was later to found to be the blowby catch can was leaking slightly onto the exhaust.
That lap was done on 26 psi, they did try it on high boost (~35) but the driver, and this is only what I heard, was 'scared ****less' and asked for it to be turned back down.
how it came to australia:

They had very limited testing prior to WTAC, expect big things from this car
