My cams are not making any more power above 7500 RPM so I quit right there. Maybe I will change cams later and try to spin for more. It's a fresh 100mm mitsu crank and slightly polished.

2.4 100mm Manley crank, manley tt rods, wiseco HD pistons... rev to 8200 1-3rd and ride 4th out to 8800rpm is what I plan to do.

I did this on the Oem 100mm, manley 150mm rods, and manly 87mm pistons too...

Oem 100mm crank, manley H-rod, Wisco piston. I don't make much power past 7200 rpm so that's my shifting point.

Reving is subject to which turbo you have.
I have a redline of 8k, but it doesn't mean I rev that high. (stock turbo)
I guess the question should be, what kind of turbo do you have and how high do you rev your stroker engine?

I accidentally revved my Magnus 2.4l to approx 10k at the drag setup once.Shift light was setup improperly and instead of being 2pulse per rev it was set at 2.5. The shift light was set at 8500 and it lit up at the top of 3ed which would be about 10650rpm. It survived. I wouldn't normally do that but that sucker pulled like it never wanted to stop. I rev my current 2.4l to maybe 7k with a 20g EVO9 turbo. If at the track though I would rev out 4th to get the best time and not have to shift to 5th. At 8k you should see over 125mph.

I think I'm just going to shift where ever it noses over on the dyno, then just run 4th out to 8800.

BR 2.3.... 8800 rpm more than a few times. No problems so far! It quits pulling at 8200 but i have to rev it out through the traps. Imo 8000rpm is totally reliable. 8500 is the normal limit with a stock crank. 300 rpm more shouldnt hurt right...? :-)

I am on a 4g64 block with OEM 100mm crank, all Cosworth bearings, BC 156mm I-Beam Rods and CP 10:1 LR 2.4l EVO Pistons. Ported head, GSC S2 Cams, Beehive Springs, Ported Intake manifold with a Full blown 70mm TB. I will be running my Tomei Arms 7960 for the first little while and only reving my car to 7200-7500 RPM. Once I get the motor broken in good and am ready for a bigger turbo I will be bumping the revs to 8500-8800 RPM.

Thanks,
Dallin
