Hey evom.
What would be some differences or preferences between what rod choice to use in a 2.4L 4g64 with 87mm 10.1 wiseco pistons and a 150mm rod. MAP I beam ultimate duty rods vs Manley TT I beam Rods.
I'd like to know what the weight difference between the two rods also wich one is better suited for daily/drag use/abuse? Or better all around rod.

Well, straight from MAP's website, it says their Howard ultimate duty rods are 630 grams.
And straight from my Manley TT weight card, each rod is 632 grams.

You can't go wrong with either of them. Both have been proven to withstand a lot of power. Just buy whichever would be cheaper and whoever could get you the best deal on them.

I, personally, went with the Manley TTs because they're a more popular choice.

 

Map rods uses the wider DSM bearings afaik.
