I agree, Ryan is a shiv tool. Join the ranks of MP5 and that assclown 2fast2furious.

Anyway, the origional posters dynograph is pretty damn impressive. I don't think this thread needs to be closed and or deleted. It sheds light onto making big power with little mods.

I think the cams alone made the powerband broader. After I installed my HKS's, the car just kept pulling and pulling to redline. The cam gears probably helped boost and pick-up as well. I am debating on a 264 or 272 intake cam set-up.

If I make it to Al's H-Town dynoflash, I will post dynosheets with my set-up and see how flat the HP and TQ curves are w the dynoflash. I like the pk TQ of the original posts dynosheet.

i know you asked but all you had to do is just leave it at that. if you just stop getting into this useless fights i am sure that you can learn some new things from this board and ALSO help others with your experiences and knowledge.

thanks

I have been to NASIOC as well and all of these so called "Vishnu Cheerleaders" get all bent out of shape when people at NASIOC said that the XEDE is not well made/no good directions/underdeveloped (since they are running some kind of BETA version of the XEDE for the STi).

Its embarrasing....

Because a bunch of people have the DynoFlash in Atlanta and wanted to know if they can get the TQ that I have with the XEDE with Al's flash and cams.

My xede was a ****ing nightmare, I almost threw it in the lake behind my house, and then once I hooked it up I had a bad harness, the harness looks like it's made by a $3 a day kid in Malaysia but now that it works correctly I had not had any problems with it. I would not trust it to run a bigger turbo at that point I would do a AEM or something like that, right now if the computer fails I still think I will be okay, on a bigger turbo I would be screwed.

Ya, please post the sheets. I was thinking the cams did that as well but though I would ask someone who has flashed 300+ evo's because he has been there and done that but could not get anything from him.

cams and/or larger turbo will change the characteristics of the powerband to a more linear one.

272's would keep the torque from dying in the upper rpms.

you make the engine breathe differently and you get to tune it differently.

Ryanmcd3,

how much power/torque do you make? 2wd? 4wd dyno?
what mods? dyno sheet?

i don't see alot of Xede dynosheets, but i see tons of dynoflashes and they keep getting better and better.

Against my will, I'll give you benefit of the doubt. The way you phrased your question sure sounded like a snide way to say "my car was tuned by Shiv, and I am faster than Dynoflash tuned Evo's."
