That is a gain of:
WHP: 30
Torque: 64

Just so you dont have to do the math...

BTW - thats the best tune I ever did. I just can't get over the trq gains.

Frankly - that car was a real pleasure to drive - so smooth - like silk. When you see a dyno sheet like that it is like - WOW - thats a nice gain. When you drive it is like DAMM - I can not believe this is the same car. That massive spool up slam in the butt feels like a mack truck hitting you from behind.

A great opportunity to work on your car - thanks for the nice scan.

Al, do you think the awesome gains were due to the selection of bolt-ons, the car being unusually strong, or both?

LOL, Al does feel like you are getting hit with a truck from behind. Nice way to put it.

I sure can feel my head whip back... will take some getting used to.

21 to redline? I wonder if you change the hose by the stock boost solenoid or remove the pill, if you can get the 21-23psi overboost around 3500-4000RPMs and have it taper to around 18-19psi to redline.

That would be awesome.

21 to redline pretty much falling about 1PSI or so... the pill is out, and dont need that my powerband is smooth as a baby's Behind, AL said just what my car is.

The pill is out but you are using the profec as a boost controller, right? Is it RPM controlled?

thanks

Yes of course... Greddy Profec B SPEC II is only a boost controler, and RPM controlled not really just setting the % and the gain and start boost, that is about all. Very similar to the HKS EVC V and the way that works, except HKS EVC V sets the gain for you automatically. (but you pay a lot more, lol)

Mods are listed on the dynograph it self, and also below my aviator.

I just really think I am getting better and better at the reflash game. After doing so many custom tunes on the road and dyno, I am getting a very good handle on these cars and getting them to spool up super hard. We have a few tricks the other tuners do not have as far as code in the ecu and it works big time.

We did another car today which had an exhuast, intake and MBC which got 310 whp.

Basically, a 3" exhuast, boost controll, and intake and the flash now get you well over 300 whp with ease - thats not bad considering the cost per whp gain!

In the old days a 20 ft lb trq gain was something that got us excited. Now we are making 50 - 75 ft lb gains on many cars down low and over 30 whp up top - these are big gains and show the flash is a really good tuining option.

Did AL say anything about just removing the pill and not having a boost controller (manual or electronic) for his reflash?
