Hey, I have an Evolution 4, and the transmission is making some noise on deceleration, which I have read up on in other threads, and still leaves me scratching my head, and there is also a bit of noise when you are sitting at idle, but it goes away when you disengage the clutch. Also, every now and then, it gets stuck in first gear. You can get it out by giving it a firm pull, but it still a bit of a bother. any suggestions of things to check or try, I am going to start with fluids. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

Also, would anyone happen to know if you were to take a trans off of an Evo 7 or 8, would it bolt right on to an Evo 4, seeing as how the engine and most components are pretty much the same?
