i ordered the speed-source all metal combo shifter bushing kit for EVO 8 and it's been 10 or 11 days since i ordered,haven't heard a word.


i actually tried calling them twice this week and left a message the second time,and sent an e-mail today with no response.

anyone have similar experience with them?

are they just real busy all the time or maybe on vacation?

i figured 10-11 days is surely enough time to at least generate a tracking number or at least acknowledge my order?

thinking of cancelling,but i don't want rubber/plastic bushings and not too many guys are making the metal bushings.

*by no means am i questioning the integrity of the company,i am sure they will send them,i just can't wait a whole lot longer and was curious to see if anyone had similar wait times.

 

I know the owner Carl. I know the guy that was still kind of running his small internet business left, so he is on his own. I know Carl is building a house right now and is super swamped. He told me last time I talked to him, that hes done with car stuff, cause there is no money in it anymore. I can shoot him a text and see whats going on for ya.

 

Ok man, he just texted me back. He said he has been out of town a lot lately, hasnt checked his email in a week. He said he is back ordered on the 5spd bushings right now and was waiting for the brass to machine them. he got the brass stock today, so he said he is gonna fill some orders. He said there is two outstanding orders along with yours.

Be patient though, Carl isnt out to do anyone wrong, he'll get them for ya!

i wasn't worried about him for a minute.i have heard nothing but good things about him,and i know his bushings are the best you can buy.also the price is right.

only reason i was worried is that i have the motor out of my car and i am re-wiring the inside and out so the dash is out too.the motor is coming in a week and i just wanted to go ahead and install these while everything is apart.

i really appreciate your checking on this for me,and tell Carl to just dis-regard my messages.my name is Mason.he can just send them when he gets done.
